On the second last day of my trip, the tour guide brought the rest of the tour group members to do some DIY pottery. We found the programme quite boring and thus decided not to follow them and went shopping on our own. We went to the famous Yaxiu Market and the nearby shopping area. Most of the stuff sold there were winter clothings but.. they have lots of nice and trendy winter boots which were dirt cheap compared to the ones in SG. There were bags, luggages, wallets and lots of souvenirs on sale and the only drawback was the hostile storekeepers. Once they knew u are not a local, they tend to quote you super high prices and u have to bargain like mad..It can be quite tiring, bargaining from store to store...

After shopping, we caught a movie at 9plus and the tic price was almost the same as in SG. I was taken aback as our tics cost abt 40RMB (ard $8) and it was already at promotion price. The normal price of the tickets cost 80RMB (ard $16).
